FileToUrl MCP Server

Upload a file and get back a permanent, shareable URL, directly from an AI agent.

Tools

upload_file — Upload a file (base64-encoded) and get back a public shareable URL. Best for files under ~2MB.
start_upload / upload_chunk / finish_upload — Chunked upload for larger files. Sends the file in small pieces to avoid timeouts in some MCP clients.
get_file_status — Check whether a previously uploaded file's link is still live. Read-only, doesn't count against your usage limits.

Requirements

Requires a FileToUrl Developer plan (£48/year), which includes:

2,000 API calls per month
25GB of upload data per month

Generate an API key from your account page once subscribed.
